Last week our boys came off the field cheering, "We made it to the Superbowl!" (The 4th Grade Superbowl that is.) Finishing the season tied for second the Red Dragons worked their way through the playoffs to make it to the finals. And this Saturday, one of the coldest yet in Texas, they played the Hurricanes. They gave it their all and they had a great season, but they ended up losing. A real tear jerker for Alex, as he had put his heart and soul into this season, but we are so proud of him. He started off one of a few 'new to football' members of the team, and by the end he was a lean, mean, tackling machine. We love you Alex, you played great and had a great season, be proud of yourself!
PS A Big thanks to all of you that found the time (and endurance) to come out to his games. It really meant a lot to him and us. Thank You!!!

Congrats Alex! Wish we could have come to a game :( There is nothing better than a good old football game.
Way to go, Alex! That is super impressive that you were in the Superbowl. We wish we could have seen you in action! Keep up the good work.
Alex, sounds like you had a great first season of football. Like Becky said, keep it up. See all of you for turkey.
Sounds like fun! I can't get over how big he is now.
BTW, I made my blog private so send me your email address (mine is amy.eldredge@yahoo.com) and I'll grant you access.
Hope your Thanksgiving was good!
