Hayley's April

Hayley did the Jr. Tallenette clinic again this year with several friends. They held an all day clinic and then had several Saturday practices to prepare them to dance at their annual showcase.

Hayley's birthday is also in April. Every other year she has a "together" party with her cousin Emma (who is only 10 days older then she is). This year they decided they wanted to have a Spa party. All their guest came wearing their PJ's. They did masks on each other... ...and then rested with cucumbers on their eyes.

After, they came upstairs to visit the... ...Hair Salon...

...Nail Salon...

...and Makeup Parlor!

Alex's April

April has been such a busy month for us I decided to break it down by person. Alex has been into sports, sports and more sports...literally. He is in basketball, flag football and baseball! (This is Dad's doing, not mine)

Alex's basketball team is the Warriors and is coached by Ryan. He is a very fast point guard, and I would say that this was his favorite sport.

Hayley is a pretty good sport cheering for all of her brothers games.

(I think she is trying to convince us to sign her up for cheer leading in the fall)

Unless he is playing football and then that is his favorite. He is on the modified Red Dragons (his tackle team) and Geoff is his assistant coach. He is getting his chance to try offense and seems to like it, he has scored 8 touchdowns this season (only one game left).

And that brings us to baseball. He has never really played baseball, but after watching his friends play, he thought that it might be something he wanted to try. He is on a team with a lot of other newbies so it is a learning and growing year, perfect for him. The pinewood derby also fell during this month so he got to try his hand at building a car (notice that it too has a sport theme). It might not have been the fastest car, he only won one out of three races, but he got best overall in design.
