Last week our boys came off the field cheering, "We made it to the Superbowl!" (The 4th Grade Superbowl that is.) Finishing the season tied for second the Red Dragons worked their way through the playoffs to make it to the finals. And this Saturday, one of the coldest yet in Texas, they played the Hurricanes. They gave it their all and they had a great season, but they ended up losing. A real tear jerker for Alex, as he had put his heart and soul into this season, but we are so proud of him. He started off one of a few 'new to football' members of the team, and by the end he was a lean, mean, tackling machine. We love you Alex, you played great and had a great season, be proud of yourself!

Book of Mormon Pageant

Our Stake is putting on a great little Book of Mormon Pageant, where you walk through the woods and see, hear and experience different Book of Mormon prophets stories and advice. They started with Nephi and his family in the wilderness and ended with Moroni burying the plates. It was a neat way to spend an Saturday afternoon. Halloween

The week of Halloween is Red Ribbon Week at school, and the kids get to wear and dress up different ways each day. This was mismatch day, hence the clothes.Hayley wanted her pumpkin to be a cat, so she scooped the guts and I tried my hand at carving.

Alex was excited to do the whole thing himself, scoop, draw and carve!

We met up with several of our friends as we made out way trick-or-treating at the outlets.
What a haul, and what better way to end the evening (or start your morning) then sampling all the sweets and dividing them into categories.

Come on, you know you did it too!

We had a great Halloween. The kids were able to dress up for school as long as it was a storybook character. (It is amazing what you can find children's books on in the library) After school we met up with several friends, and trick-or-treated at the Allen outlets. The kids ran into so many of their friends there. It was a great safe way to do it. Next we came home and had soup with friends. Then Alex went over to a friends Halloween party, and my friend Silvana and I took the girls around the neighbor hood. Finally we came home, ate candy, and watched Mostly Ghostly on Disney. W e sure missed all of you, and wish we could have seen everyone all dressed up. We hope you all had as much fun as we did, publish your own pictures soon!
