Jazz Performance

Hayley is taking Jazz, and they just had their annual spring show. She loves to dance and has really enjoyed Jazz.
Hayley all dolled up.
Emma and Hayley were all smiles after the show.

Italy

Geoff spent the last two weeks of May in Milan Italy working, although he did enjoy a quick weekend visit from his brother Brian and family who came down to see him from Switzerland. Here are some photos of his trip. He is not with me right now, so I can't tell you their names, but he saw castles, went out on a lake, visited beautiful gardens and enjoyed the architecture.

Texas Wildlife

Bet you didn't know tartantulas ran wild in Texas, neither did I.
Hayley found this guy by our car when we were leaving a friends house on Memorial Day. For a bit of referance, that is a shovel blade next to it.

Cousin Sara

My cousin Sara came for a quick visit on her way to San Antonio to see her sister. I enjoyed seeing her again, and the kids enjoyed her playing and singing to them.

Hayley's Baptism

Hayley was baptized into the
Church of Jesus Christ
of
Latter Day Saints
Saturday May 30, 2009
(along with her cousin Emma)
She looked beautiful in her white dress.

They were so excited to share this special event with each other.

Aunts Julie, Laura and Amber sang at the baptism .
Both grandmas were kind enough to help out with the refreshments.

They had a lot of friends come share their special day. Hayley with her favorite Uncle Bruce.

Visitors!!!!

We were so blessed to have so many people come visited us for Hayley and Emma's baptism. Grandma Shelley was the first to arrive. Hayley was so excited to take her to the American Girl Doll Store and Alex enjoyed a fine meal at Five Guys Burgers (his favorite) after.
Then the next day my Mom, Dad and Uncle Bruce came and we went to this great nature reserve/park with them. There was something for everyone to do...
Geoff raced his car...
The kids road bikes with Grandpa Mac and Uncle Bruce...

And the rest of us just enjoyed the hike up to a look out tower!

Back home, the girl's had fun smothering Uncle Bruce, and the boys enjoyed playing back yard ball with Grandpa and Bruce.

After the baptism we enjoyed a great Texas storm, and fish fry/BBQ, visiting and games. Unfortunately everyone had to leave the next day. But we had a wonderful visit, short but sweet, thank you all for taking the time and making the effort to come!

Easter

(I know this was a long time ago, but I have to catch up )

Family Picture Easter Morning

We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Ryan and Shelley's house the week before they moved. The day started out rainy but ended beautifully. The kids found tons of eggs, and the Dad's were so excited they could hardly wait to find theirs! :)

And I just had to include this one of Erin, she was such a big girl this year finding her own eggs!
