We went swimming several times in different places, and as you can tell Alex is really enjoying having his cast off and being able to get all wet again.
It was a constant battle between the boys and girls as to who grandpa would swim with. You can tell who won here. He even got Hayley and Emma to go down 2 big slides and like it!
I know this is Shelley's picture, but I really liked it. Hayley matches the grass, Emma matches the sky, and grandma matches their smiles. It is just a pretty and colorful picture.
We went to a Frisco Rough Riders Baseball game and got free hats. Alex and Geoff had just spent the previous 6 hours golfing in the hot Texas sun, Hayley and I got a nap, can you tell?
We didn't plan this but we thought is was cute that we showed up at our friends 4th of July swim party/BBQ wearing red, white and blue!
We went to McKinney's Red, White and Boom for 4th of July Fireworks (since Allen does theirs at the end of June) They had several hot air balloons blowing up for entertainment. Here the girl's and grandpa and standing right in front of one as they pull the string for fire. If you can't guess it is very loud and hot!
Alex was able to get in a basket and pull the flame string, my camera wasn't fast enough to catch the fire, but I got his smile!
Even Grandma and Amber had to come check out the balloons and tell us it was almost time for the fireworks.We also got to go to the movies and shopping while my parents were here. The girl's enjoyed a day at the mall where we all got makeovers from the Bare Essentials make-up store. And the little boys enjoyed sleepovers with grandpa where he helped them get their astronomy belt loop. They spent hours looking at the stars with grandpa's new gadget and defining all different kinds of things, and I do literally mean hours. Even Oscar enjoyed the visit by sneaking in to mom's room each night to sleep with her. Thank goodness for grandparents, we love them!
This is the kids on Grandma and Grandpa's last night, we all were sure sad to see them go, but now have alot of new memories to treasure.
Good bye Grandpa and Grandma, we'll miss you!
