Jr. Tallenette Clinic

Hayley loves dancing. Every year she does this all day clinic put on by the Allen High School Drill Team. She did such a good job and had so much fun.

Oklahoma City

For spring break we finally made the 3 hour drive up to Oklahoma City and were able to see where Geoff grew up.

Oscar wouldn't get off Geoff's bag so he could pack.

Unfortunately he didn't get to come on this trip.

This is the playground behind Geoff's old house, he thinks it might still be the same toys and everything.

This is the lake that was behind Geoff's old house. The neighborhood houses all back up to it, making a fun area for the kids to walk and play. We enjoyed the nice Oklahoma weather to walk around and explore it.

But who needs a bridge, the kids enjoyed Dad's way of getting across a lot better.

This is where Geoff lived while growing up in OKC.

One of Geoff's old friends took us to see the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial.

We also walked around Bricktown a new little addition to OKC with a riverwalk and restaurants. (New at least to Geoff)

Geoff's friend Richard also took us out to a place where we could target shoot.

Alex has really taken to this and enjoys any chance he can go out with Geoff and shoot.

Hayley loves nature and enjoyed being outdoors with everyone,until we discovered tics crawling on all of us. She then went and hid in the car till it was time to go. Ironically, she was the only one to have tics actually in her when we got home, poor girl.

And yes is snowed while we were there for spring break, what a wide variety of weather we had while we were there.

We visited Geoff's old High School, home of the Putnam City Pirates.

And his Elementary.

It was good for the kids to see that he had to walk to school too, and that his was even further.

Finally we found his old Middle School. It had changed names and Geoff had to check to make sure that it was the right place. He thinks it might be named after his old principal.

Science Fair

Alex with his science fair partners Michael, and Sami.

They worked really hard and won first place at Marion Elementary. Then they represented their school in the regional science fair and got an honorable mention metal. (That is basically 4th place, but you don't get to go to state) So proud of you Buddy!

Flag Football

Alex got to be quarterback for one of his games. He even threw a touchdown pass.

Alex is #8, his FAVORITE number. He is in purple because his team is the LSU Tigers.
